Sundays & Cybele (– シベールの日曜日, Cybele no Nichiyobi) is a four-piece psychedelic band formed in Hokkaido in 2004. The band name is taken from the notorious 1962 French movie. The band consists of singer and guitarist Kazuo Tsubochi, guitarist Yoshinao Uchida, bassist Shota Mizuno and drummer Shotaro Aoki. Tsubouchi writes all the music that is derived from the 60’s and 70’s Japanese psych rock. This year the band released Enter the time mirror and Chaos & Systems. Label Guruguru Brain announced that Sundays & Cybele’s album Gypsy House will be reissued on October 22nd.
