After announcing eufonius for AnimagiC 2018, the convention announced another music act for the 20th anniversary of the convention: MYTH & ROID (pronounced as Miss Android). The musical unit will perform for the first time in Europe.

The unit is centred around Tom-H@ck (guitar, composer, production) and hotaru (lyrics, story planning). MYTH & ROID debuted in 2015 with its first single L.L.L and made songs for various anime series such as Overlord, BBK/BRNK, Saga of Tanya the Evil and Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World.

In 2017 KIKOW joined MYTH & ROID after being discovered by Tom-H@ck. Having lived overseas in the past, she is capable of singing in both English and Japanese. In April of the same year, the unit released their first album titled eYe’s.

Until November 2017 MYTH & ROID consisted of two vocalists, KIKOW and its first vocalist Mayu, but Mayu decided to graduate from the band in order to pursue a solo career. KIKOW’s face was revealed for the single HYDRA.

MYTH & ROID will celebrate its European premiere at the AnimagiC 2018 with two concerts. Furthermore, there will be a possibility to meet the band during Q&A and signing session. AnimagiC 2018 will take place from August 3 to 5 at Rosengarten Mannheim.
