Shortly before the performance at AnimeCon, the biggest anime convention in The Netherlands, NECRONOMIDOL had an opportunity to give a short performance in the city centre of The Hague. The location for this performance, Rock Palace, is a part of KEYMUSIC nowadays, but even so the original name is displayed on various places in the shop -even the windows-.

The shop is the location for buying musical instruments since 1985, and you can even test them out in the store. The instruments shop is used on a regular basis for instores, mostly for Dutch musicians, but it was a first for The Netherlands that an (alternative) idol act from Japan could perform in a shop to promote themselves.

The shop has enough room for the performance, but also for the audience. Even though the performance was announced a week in advance, nearly 50 people came to witness this unique experience. The girls had created a stage in front of the window, allowing people passing by to look at the performance as well. It resulted in a few funny moments in which people stopped for a moment to see what was happening to just gawking in amazement. Some people decided to come inside to see and hear more of what was going on, creating an interesting combination of the audience which all shared the enthusiasm to be a part of this unique experience.

The girls from NECRONOMIDOL knew how to utilize the space they had for their performance, and tried to interact with every single member of the audience for this instore during every single song. Even though Rock Palace isn’t a venue, they had everything required for a show. The end result was an unusual and unique performance which will remain in the minds of the visitors and even the staff of the store for a while.
