With one week to go, let’s get into the latest details for AVO J-Music Festival! The festival will take place on Saturday 15 September at Zuiderparktheater in The Hague. Two bands will perform during the evening: goth unit REMNANT and electronic rock/metal band Esprit D’Air. But there is more… let’s get right into it!
Last addition to the line-up is DJ Nachtraaf to make the evening of AVO J-Music Festival complete! Nachtraaf is a Dutch Electro-Industrial DJ that started back in 2012. He is the former frontman of The New Industrial Generation (TNIG) collective, which provided a platform for upcoming bands and DJs from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, and quickly gained notoriety by winning the Summer Darkness 2013 DJ contest. Nachtraaf is no stranger to AVO, in 2015 the DJ was the support act of REMNANT at 330 LIVE. The DJ will share his Japanese music collection during the festival by mixing the cool tracks altogether.
The first band to perform is REMNANT, who is labelled as “a hauntingly beautiful electronic band” by Japan Jams. The goth unit will perform for one hour and after an intermezzo by DJ Nachtraaf, the last band of the evening, Esprit D’Air, this band will also perform for an hour. Japan Jams said the following about Esprit D’Air: “A brilliant mix of metal and electronic to create real catchy J-Rock!”
The timetable is as follows:
After the shows, DJ Nachtraaf will be performing until the doors of Zuiderparktheater closes. Both REMNANT and Esprit D’Air will have an own merchandise table, so you can buy your CDs, shirts and say hello to the bands.
