Shonen Knife back to Europe: ALIVE! in Europe 2019

The pop-punk band from Osaka, Shonen Knife, announced to come back to Europe for a tour. The tour, titled ALIVE! in Europe 2019, will start in May. Earlier the band announced a performance at Spanish festival Primavera Sound at the end of May. Now they announced more shows will take place in May, but the band announced that the European tour will take play in May and June.

The tour dates that are announced are as follows:

Thursday 9 May: Pitcher – Düsseldorf, Germany
Friday 10 May: Manufaktur – Schorndorf, Germany
Saturday 11 May: Milla – München, Germany
Sunday 12 May: 007 Club – Prague, Czech Republic
Monday 13 May: Chelsea – Vienna, Austria
Wednesday 15 May: Monkey’s Music Club – Hamburg, Germany
Thursday 16 May: Bi Nuu – Berlin, Germany
Friday 17 May: K3 – Hameln, Germany
Saturday 18 May: Das Bett – Frankfurt, Germany
Sunday 19 May: dB’s – Utrecht, The Netherlands
Friday 24 May: Petit Bain – Paris, France
Monday 27 May: Spazio Ligera – Milan, Italy
Tuesday 28 May: FREAKOUT CLUB – Bologna, Italy
Wednesday 29 May: BLAH BLAH – Turin, Italy
Thursday 30 May: Primavera Sound – Barcelona, Spain
Friday 31 May: LOCO CLUB – Valencia, Spain

In March 2018, Shonen Knife released the album ALIVE! in Osaka, which was recorded live Juso Fandango in Osaka in December 2017. The album includes 21 tracks from the band’s more than a 3-decade long career.
