The band signed at the label GuruGuruBrain – founded by members of local psychedelic rock band Kikagaku Moyo – and released their first self-titled release in September 2015, in the meantime, the band released an EP Tunnel / New Pastoral Life in 2016 and in 2017 they reissued their self-titled LP as a CD. Next to Kyotaro Miula, Minami Deutsch consists of guitarist Taku Idemoto and bassist Keita Ise. Last year, the Japanese band released their second album, With Dim Light.
