Kikagaku Moyo stands for geometric patterns and is best described as a psychedelic band, although the band describes it completely differently with feel-good music. Their music incorporates elements of classical Indian music, Krautrock, Traditional Folk, and 70s Rock. The band started in the Summer of 2012 busking on the streets of Tokyo and is founded by drummer/vocalist Go Kurosawa and guitarist/vocalist Tomo Katsurada. The latest release of the band is Masana Temples, Kikagaku Moyo’s 4th full-length studio album. This album got released in October 2018. Kikagaku Moyo is part of Guruguru Brain, their own label, of which the base is in Amsterdam.

Kikagaku Moyo just finished up their Spring European Tour earlier this month.
