Church of Misery return to Europe for a 2019 tour

Doom metal band Church of Misery just finished up their tour through the United States and announced a new tour, this time it will be a tour through Europe. The tour is planned for the Autumn, in the month of October and the band will return to Desertfest Belgium.

The starting point of this European tour will be Finland at Blowup Vol. 5 Pre Festival on 3 October. Church of Misery will perform at 23 shows in 14 countries. Last year, the doom metal band toured Europe as well, in the months April, May, June and July with shows at Hellfest and Stick and Stone Fest, but also club shows.

The tour dates are as follows:

Thursday 3 October: Blowup Vol. 5 Pre Festival @ Kuudes Linja – Helsinki, Finland
Friday 4 October: The 13th Floor Kulturetage – Kempten, Germany
Saturday 5 October: Up in Smoke Festival @ Z7 – Pratteln, Switzerland
Sunday 6 October: Spazio Ligera – Milan, Italy
Monday 7 October: L’écurie – Geneva, Switzerland
Wednesday 9 October: Dürer Kert – Budapest, Hungary
Friday 11 October: Arena – Vienna, Austria
Saturday 12 October: Soulstone Gathering Warm Up @ Zet Pete – Kraków, Poland
Sunday 13 October: Pogłos – Warsaw, Poland
Monday 14 October: Zukunft am Ostkreuz – Berlin, Germany
Tuesday 15 October: Jugendhaus Schönau – Mannheim, Germany
Thursday 17 October: Shepherd’s Bush Empire – London, United Kingdom
Friday 18 October: Vortex Surfer Musikclub – Siegen, Germany
Saturday 19 October: Desertfest Belgium – Antwerp, Belgium
Sunday 20 October: Patronaat – Haarlem, The Netherlands
Monday 21 October: Hafenklang – Hamburg, Germany
Tuesday 22 October: Loppen – Copenhagen, Denmark
Wednesday 23 October: Musikens Hus – Gothenburg, Sweden
Thursday 24 October: Parkteatret – Oslo, Norway
Friday 25 October: Folken – Stavanger, Norway
Saturday 26 October: Landmark – Bergen, Norway
Monday 28 October: Mod Club – St. Petersburg, Russia
Tuesday 29 October: Aglomerat – Moscow, Russia

Want to know what you could expect from Church of Misery live? During their tour in the United States, the band shared live videos on their YouTube channel to give you a taste of how the shows were. The live video below is made by Max Volume Silence and consists of a full set of Church of Misery at Saint Vitus Bar in New York. One of the last shows of their United States tour.

The latest release of Church of Misery is an album in 2016, titled And Then There Were None…, where the founder of the band, bass player Tatsu, worked together with musicians as Scott Carlson (Repulsion, Death Breath, and ex-Cathedral), guitarist Dave Szulkin (active in Blood Farmers and The Disease Concept) and drummer Eric Little (Active in Earthride).
