Indie-pop band Lucie,Too shared some good news for their fans: they announced the arrival of a new bass player and a live show that will be broadcasted for fans worldwide.
After the withdrawal of Kanako late last year, shortly after the release of their EP CHIME, Lucie,Too worked temporarily with a support bass player. With the bassist, Kanatama from the band DIALUCK, they worked on a new song, titled ハミング (Humming) and concluded this collaboration of 4 months stylishly by filming a short session where they perform a couple of songs. This performance, named Brand New Wave, has been shared on YouTube.
It was waiting until the end of September, before the indie band was able to present officially the new band member. With the addition of bass player Hikari, Lucie,Too now are back at being a three-piece again. Hikari is also active as the bass player for the band Catfood Salmons, a four-piece that is mainly active in Shimokitazawa in Tokyo.
To celebrate the fact of the brand-new Lucie,Too, the band will do a live show at Shindaita FEVER on Friday 30 October, it is the first time that they are doing this one-man show. This headlining show will be streamed live as well. Tickets for this live broadcast can be purchased at the website of PIA. The stream will start at 20.00 Japanese time, that will be at 11.00 AM British time and 12.00 PM Netherlands time. A viewing ticket to see this livestream will cost 2000 yen.
