All-female power metal band Aldious were planning to tour Europe for the first time starting at the end of September of this year, this got postponed to March 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic. The tour organisation behind this tour, ORION Live, announced earlier today that they will reschedule the tour once again. This time the European tour of Aldious will take place in October 2021.

The rescheduled tour dates are now as follows:

Wednesday 20 October 2021: The Underworld – London, United Kingdom
Thursday 21 October 2021: Trabendo – Paris, France
Saturday 23 October 2021: Roadrunners Paradise Club – Berlin, Germany

The tickets that were purchased for the original dates will be honoured.

After recruiting their new vocalist R!N, they planned an international release for their first album in three years, titled Evoke 2010-2020, and made it complete with the announcement of this European tour. Things are going different for a while now due to COVID-19, but for the time being the European tour still remains planned. In the meantime, they have also released Evoke II 2010-2020, again filled with a collection of their songs that they released over the past decade with the vocals of the newest addition of the band, R!N. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the debut of the band, they had a no audience live show in August.

The band from Osaka has been active since 2008, but since 2010 the band gained recognition in Japan’s metal scene. A decade later and Aldious are recognised as one of the original pioneers of the next generation of all-female metal bands. They’ve performed at various types of festival across Japan, including SUMMER SONIC, LOUD PARK and VISUAL JAPAN SUMMIT. For this year, they have been performing for the first time in the United States with a show at N.A.M.M. and with the European tour in prospect, it seemed like the band is in a good flow. Aldious consists of vocalist R!N, guitarists Toki and Yoshi, bass player Sawa and drummer Marina.

All changes of Japan-related events and events where Japanese musicians are planned to perform are compiled in a list that you can find here. This list will be regularly updated.
