tricot to Europe for tour in 2022

Alternative rock band tricot will be returning to Europe for a tour in the spring of 2022. The band announced this alongside the announcement of a new album, titled Jodeki, to be released on 15 December. The album will be consisting of 2 discs filled with 24 tracks, including BAKURO and Inai.

The upcoming European tour is part of the WALKING x WALKING TOUR 2021-2022, starting with a tour through Japan in December, January and February. In March, tricot will start touring through the United Kingdom, then hop over the pond and perform in 9 other European countries with the tour finale set in Spain. Tickets are available for (most) shows.

The European tour dates are as follows:

Wednesday 30 March, 2022: Komedia – Brighton, United Kingdom
Friday 1 April, 2022: Firebug – Leicester, United Kingdom
Saturday 2 April, 2022: Headrow House – Leeds, United Kingdom
Sunday 3 April, 2022: Stereo – Glasgow, United Kingdom
Tuesday 5 April, 2022: YES – Manchester, United Kingdom
Wednesday 6 April, 2022: O2 Academy2 – Sheffield, United Kingdom
Friday 8 April, 2022: Clwb Ifor Bach – Cardiff, United Kingdom
Saturday 9 April, 2022: The Exchange – Bristol, United Kingdom
Sunday 10 April, 2022: The Garage – London, United Kingdom
Tuesday 12 April, 2022: Point Ephemere – Paris, France
Wednesday 13 April, 2022: Botanique – Brussels, Belgium
Thursday 14 April, 2022: Melkweg Upstairs – Amsterdam, Netherlands
Saturday 16 April, 2022: Loppen – Copenhagen, Denmark
Monday 18 April, 2022: Futurum – Prague, Czech Republic
Tuesday 19 April, 2022: Turbina – Budapest, Hungary
Wednesday 20 April, 2022: Zahrada – Banska Bystrica, Slovakia
Thursday 21 April, 2022: Nova Cvernovka – Bratislava, Slovakia
Friday 22 April, 2022: Sala Bóveda – Barcelona, Spain

The rock band had been touring Europe four times so far. Contrary to what is stated on their current website, they have toured Europe in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. In October 2020 tricot celebrated its 10th anniversary by releasing the new studio album 10.
