Rock band MELT-BANANA will be touring the United Kingdom starting coming spring from the 31st of March through the whole month of April 2022. This was announced earlier today on their social media accounts. The band created a special page for the upcoming tour with ticket links for the specific shows.

Last year, the band had plans to tour through the United States and a summer tour through Europe – although this wasn’t officially announced – both had to be cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. But for the band, it was now the time to share some good news! The upcoming tour through the United Kingdom consists of almost 20 shows, including a show at Manchester Punk Festival 2022.

In the meantime, they have also announced their tour through North America as one of the support bands for French musician IGORRR, planned for February and March, which means that the two upcoming tours are almost back-to-back of each other. They do have one headlining show planned during the North America tour.

Active since 1992, MELT-BANANA consists of vocalist YAKO and guitarist AGATA. In 2015, they released a compilation album of their singles, two years after releasing their 7th album Fetch. One of their latest releases is a split 7 inch EP with British extreme metal band Napalm Death in 2017. They are currently very busy with making new music and sharing old and new music and their stories through their Patreon and YouTube channel. The members describe the band as a rock band with a spice of punk. If you want to know more about the band, on their official website they made a FAQ with interesting questions answered, such as best soup.
