Kracie – Pizza Party – Elaborate
Price: ± €8
Extra supplies: Microwave, Plate, Water & Scissors.

One of the few savoury candy kits produced, this Pizza Party candy kit by Kracie has quite a few irregular flavours, for candy that is. The pizza is meant to taste like actual pizza and the potato bites like potato. The one sweet element in this candy kit is the melon soda. In this kit you’ll find seven sachets, a mould, a spoon and a cup. It also includes some wrapping that can be used when creating your pizza and a wrapper for the cup itself.

Flavour: ♥
While making the pizza’s there were a lot of strong smells, the sauce smelled like ketchup, the cheese like cheese and the meat smelled a bit smoky. The texture of each of these elements was a bit off though, the cheese wasn’t as oozy as the pictures implied, and had a very faint flavour, and the pizza dough had an almost gummy like texture to it. It didn’t taste anything like a pizza crust. The meat was a bit harder to bite into and mainly had a salty flavour to it. I’m not sure what the yellow and green sprinkles really were, but they were crunchy and tasted a bit like puffed rice. They didn’t have a whole lot of flavour to them.

Overall, I wasn’t a big fan of the pizza’s, at least not when it came to eating them. The potato bites weren’t the best either, they were very dry and mainly tasted like salt.

My favourite part of this entire candy kit, flavourwise, was the melon soda. It was fizzy and definitely had a melon flavour to it. Aside from the flavours this kit was a fun one to construct.

Time needed: ⧗⧗
This kit takes up a little more time, because there are quite a few parts to it.

Difficulty level: ★★
This isn’t a very hard candy kit to make, but it does take quite a bit of effort. There are quite a few steps to creating the pizza’s, take your time and try to follow the instructions and they should turn out fine.

Similarity: 📷📷
As you can see on the pictures below, the final product looks similar to the picture on the packaging. Although this kit still produces pizza’s, it is impossible to get them as ‘perfect’ as they are on the packaging. Aside from that the textures are different as well.

Want to enjoy this kit again?

Clean the mould and container with warm water, after using it, and let it air dry.

To recreate the elements of this candy kit you could use Starbursts or other kneadable candies.

This is not a sponsored review and because of this I won’t mention where I bought this set, if you do an online search using the name of this kit you’ll be able to find this one in several webshops.

Text of "Bandcamp Friday" and "Suggestions November 2021" on top of a radio, edited in a way that there was a glitch. The result is that there are more radio's in the image. With added filters it is made colourful with the added colours of red, blue and green and mixes of that.

Five Japanese artists and labels to support during Bandcamp Friday (November 2021)
